Cycle paths in Salzburg and the surroundings

Salzburg is a true cyclist's paradise in summer

Cycling guests have become particularly dear to us in recent years. The Mozart Cycle Path, Tauern Cycle Path, Alpe-Adria Cycle Path or Salzkammergut Cycle Path are just a few “steps” away. Garage, drying room, tools for minor repairs, a bike workshop nearby and lots of information material round off our offer.

Mr Reichl, the owner of the hotel, is himself a keen cyclist and will be happy to give you a few hot tips for your cycling tour. And for those looking to avoid all that tedious packing and unpacking of the saddlebag, simply try the “Cycling Star” day trips.
There are numerous exciting tours that you can enjoy from Salzburg itself. We would be happy to prepare a bespoke tour for you on request.

Running, Nordic Walking or simply exploring the countryside

It is only about 200 metres from the hotel to the banks of the Salzach, where you can give free rein to your passion for jogging or Nordic Walking. A pocket running guide is available free of charge from Customer Services at the Schloss Mirabell or from Citizens’ Advice Centres.
The most popular route is the 2.5 km-long Hellbrunner Allee, to which some runners like to add a 2 km-long circuit round the Hellbrunner Park. If you do not want to go so far, you can try the circuit round the Leopoldskroner lake or in the Volksgarten park.
